Block Headwear was created by Cuban-born designer Ciomi McCabe. The name Block Headwear pays homage to the centuries-old art of hatmaking, where material is moulded and steamed around a piece of wood – a 'block' – to give the hat its shape. It also plays off the idea of a 'block' being the place where you’re from and how that influences your style.
