Palladium was founded in 1920, originally making tires for the fledgling aviation industry. But in 1947 after World War II, the demand for airplane tires decreased. Palladium used its expertise to develop boots that were as hard wearing as their tires. The boots were so comfortable and durable that they were first adopted by the legendary French Foreign Legion. Today, the original boot design combines over 60 years of authenticity with modern manufacturing and premium materials. Palladium boots are engineered for exploring cities around the world.
