How do you stay creative? "It's by doing things I love in life, like playing video games, doing yoga, and listening to music. I think those are the three things I do the most in my life. When it comes to music, all my musical inspiration comes from video games. I'm not someone who listens to a lot of current music. Of course, I try to stay up to date with music to know what's going on, but what inspires me the most is video game music." Would you say that your Haitian origins influence some of your music? “I would say that my Haitian roots have helped me a lot in doing what I do today. It's not necessarily in the style of music, but more in the fact that since I was young, there has been music playing in the house back to back, every day. This has helped develop my musical ear and has enabled me to do what I do today." What is your dream collaboration? "My dream collaboration would be with Pharrell Williams. Pharrell Williams, if you see this, let's collaborate." What are your go-to shoes when you're in the studio? "My go-to pair of shoes when I'm in the studio is either the Yeezy Foam Runner, the Yeezy Slide, or just a pair of socks, that's it." Do you have any exciting projects coming up? "I'm currently working on a major project that's been in the works for a while. We've faced a lot of challenges, including some hard drive issues, but we're still working on it. I'm collaborating with several artists from France and the United States, though I can't reveal any names just yet (haha). It's just a matter of time before it's released." |
