"Leagues better than standard All-Stars"
These are definitely worth the extra cost from the All-Stars. I haven't gone back to the All-Stars since getting my first pair of these (which I've had for 3 years now and they still have minimal wear). They are thicker, comfier, more durable, less stinky, and better-looking than the All-Stars. They are slightly narrower in the toe box. Half-size down fits perfectly. Expect some blisters as you're breaking them in though.

Love everything about the Chuck 70's. The quality is so much better than regular Chuck Taylor's. Definitely worth the extra money in my opinion.

"Better tha regular Converse"
The best Converse version, super comfortable (as comfortable as flat shoes can be) and the materials are better, looks more durable, I totally recommend getting the Chuck 70 over the regular ones!

These shoes are so cute! The canvas is super thick and feels really high quality, and the soles are really comfortable too! I like to wear a sock that goes just above my ankles so they dont rub too much but still cant be seen over the shoe. They do fit big because Im normally a size 6 or 6.6 but I bought a 5.5 and they fit great.

Huge step up in comfort from the old chucks, nice thicker canvas and good insoles. Went with my euro size (39) - got an 8 instead of my usual NA size (8.5) and they fit perfect.

These shoes are my go to for everything! I own 4 pairs of chuck 70s. You always have to break them in a bit but that only takes a couple wears these fit like all other converse, so purchase .5 size down from what you normally get in other brands.

"Great retro high top"
These were on my 14 yr old daughters Christmas wish list. When they arrived they were a size too big. We ended up going into a store to try on a pair of converse high tops to make sure we got the size right for the exchange. My daughter just loves them and the footbed, she says, is so comfy it feels like memory foam. Love that my daughter is into the classic converse like I was at her age!
